Standard cab or regular cab?
Aren’t those two things the same? And what’s the difference between a Quad Cab, SuperCab, and Mega Cab?
Vehicle manufacturers use different names to denote their cab style and bed lengths. What’s one man’s Crew Cab is another man’s SuperCrew. It can be confusing, especially when trying to find aftermarket parts compatible with your specific brand of truck. That’s why the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) has attempted to standardize the names. These standard names are the same names retailers like Summit Racing use to identify application-specific parts.
The guide below matches each major brand’s cab name with the comparable AAIA designation for an apples-to-apples comparison. We’ve also provided an illustrated guide for identifying various cab designs by brand.

Good info but the quality is so poor I can’t read it.
Our bad, Mark! We have updated the chart and image so it’s a bit larger. Hope this helps!
I can’t read it either. Also there are a lot of earlier models that don’t match at all. Ford Ranger is one. They have a ton of different models that make a BIG difference.
We have made the graphics are little larger. Hopefully, this helps with the readability. Thanks for reading!
