A Ferrari 365 GT4 BB on a forest road. No dialogue or narration to get in the way. Just five liters of mid-engine flat-twelve through a canopy of trees.
The Berlinetta Boxer is one of the rarer sounds in motoring. Most Ferrari twelves are V-shaped and sit up front. The BB's flat-twelve sits low behind the cabin instead, in a layout almost nobody else used in a production road car. The layout came from Ferrari's Formula 1 program, which won championships with flat-twelves through the 1970s.
Nearly five liters and twelve cylinders splayed 180 degrees, with the engine stacked on top of the transaxle to keep the wheelbase short. Pininfarina styled the body around the entire engine. Ferrari built it from the late 1970s through the early 1980s.

Is there any chance the first part of this was filmed on Highway 9 near Felton, CA? (And possibly the rest of it in the Santa Cruz Mountains? I used to drive that road almost daily. So much fun. Great film. Thank you for putting it together.
